to be SUSAN DUNSTAN, the answer is simply:
anywhere! Blessed with a rare musical ability
and a gift for connecting with an audience, Susan
has won countless converts throughout her storied
career as an entertainer. Already playing lead
roles in Tony award-winning musicals, Susan now
proves herself a wondrously talented solo artist
with her own original show called THE DIVAS
IN ME.
Susan was an original cast member of the
World Premiere of THE LORD OF THE RINGS at the
Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto where she was a featured
specialty vocalist.
Prior to her journey to Middle Earth,
Susan was kicking up her heels at Massey Hall in
the all star cast of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN! with
Louise Pitre and Billy Ray Cyrus!!
The Orillia Opera House was the backdrop
for the classic musical SOUTH PACIFIC where Susan played
Bloody Mary, singing the famous Bali Hi and Happy Talk to rave
reviews!
Susan also spent 2 ½
years with Disney’s THE LION KING at the
Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, where she
was seen in the role of Shenzi, the tough
talking Hyena.
For the past 3 years prior to
the Lion King, Susan has been sailing the world
with ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE LINES. She
has been performing her own show, backed by an
16 piece orchestra, to packed houses of 2000 seats.
She has also been a part of their staged production
shows in the past. Susan has opened for and sung
with such legends as MARY WILSON (Supremes) and
the GREAT BEN VEREEN.

Neil Bartram. She was also seen as the Handmaiden
in Leslie Arden’s THE PRINCESS AND THE HANDMAIDEN.
Plus many benefits, concerts and industrials and
a lot of voice work.
Recently Miss Dunstan sang and was part of the
high profile gala benefit for GILDA’S CLUB
hosted by Eugene Levy and starring Andrea Martin,
Holly Cole and Eric McCormack of Will and Grace.
She has also sung at THE MAYOR’S GALA BALL
at the Toronto Convention Centre, The CHILDREN’S
WISH FOUNDATION Christmas Fundraiser and THE
TORONTO OLYMPIC BID Gala at the Royal York
Hotel as well as The LIBERAL CONVENTION
, The MS GALA FUNDRAISER, The
YMCA KIDS
FOR CAMP benefit, and the THEATRE BY THE
BAY inaugural season benefit headed up by
Artistic Director Larrissa Mair.
Susan received her training at the Royal Conservatory
of Music/University of Toronto (voice: opera and
piano) and is a graduate of the Sheridan Music
Theatre Program. Susan also does select vocal
coaching for young performers in the Musical Theatre
community.
Susan's consummate performances in both classical
and modern settings have made her the first choice
